It has been said that Instagram is a place where people get their greatest self-awareness. Well, this may be exactly what Instagram has on offer to help you realize that you have something to say, and that you’re not just a tool to be used.
So far the biggest criticism of Instagram is that it doesn’t seem to get you to write things down. It seems that you are required to post something to Instagram, but not necessarily anything specific, which does make it a little difficult to keep track of what youre saying. That means that you may be tempted not to think about what you are writing in the first place, which is understandable, but can lead to poor writing quality.
I know this because I’ve been on Instagram for a long time and its been something I’ve always wanted to do, but I’ve never quite gotten the hang of it. I’m doing it this year, and I actually feel pretty good about it. I’m trying to get better at taking screenshots, and to think of it as less a replacement for pen and paper and more a tool for capturing memories.
When I first started using Instagram I was really shy, and it was scary to say the least. I had a huge fear of being judged on my pictures, and I didn’t feel comfortable posting them. I wasn’t sure it was a good idea for me to post a shot of me with a beer in one of my pictures, so I decided not to post it until I knew I would have a friend to post it with, and I wouldn’t be judged.
Though it is definitely easier to post a photo than a picture, the process must be a bit more efficient than it was for Instagram. It’s a bit more difficult to capture a picture than a picture, but I think it’s pretty easy to capture a picture. If I could, I would probably post it more quickly than if I had to have a photo of myself with a beer in my photo.
Instagram has a loading screen that gives you a visual cue as to how much time you have before your page loads. I did not see that in the actual screenshot, but I did see it in the first photo that I posted. This is a bit more annoying than the loading screen, as Instagram uses different methods to show time versus photos.
It also has a little bit of a “loading” animation. This is a bit more annoying than the loading screen, as you have to wait until Instagram is finished loading before you can post pictures.
Yeah, it sucks that they’re loading stuff. But this is a minor annoyance compared to the loading screen. It seems like the only times you’ll see the loading screen is when you’re loading a different page and don’t see the loading screen until you close and re-open the page.
So, when youre on the Internet, and you load the page to see it, it is not a load time thing. The only thing that makes the loading screen more annoying is that it is taking out the first page for you to see the loading screen. If you can’t see it, you are not on the Internet.
I think the loading screen is a tiny annoyance, but it is annoying nonetheless. And it is what I think is the only reason I still stick to Google Reader.
