android is a little known brand of smart phones, laptops, tablets, and other devices made by Microsoft. The brand was founded in 2004 by the head of Microsoft Mobile, Andrew Tanenbaum.
That being said, this brand is fairly unique in the way it works, and it’s now quite common for companies to use the android brand in marketing their own products. For example, last year Google announced a new Google Glasses. The device is a little different than the normal Google Glasses in that it has a small camera on the front and a small touch screen on the back, and it is also made by Asus. The device is called the Android 1.
In this case, the Android 1 is an Android smartphone manufactured by Samsung, which is also the manufacturer of the Galaxy S. In fact, the developer community for the Android apps seems to be so fragmented that it’s impossible to know which developer is actually working on the apps. So, it’s very easy for them to screw up and end up having a buggy app that doesn’t work as intended.
Apple’s been a little bit more forgiving about these issues, but this just goes to show you that when you’re working with a company like Google, you’re only as good as your competition.
